Gautham Vasudev Menon opens on ‘Queen’ first season climax

Gautham Vasudev Menon has embarked on his new journey into the world of web series. The maiden work ‘Queen’, which is based on the fictional book with the same title, partially resembling the life of Former Late TN CM J Jayalalitha will be streamed on MX Player from December 14, 2019. The special screening of the first episode happened in Chennai, where the cast and crewmembers were present.

Later talking to Studio Flicks, Gautham Vasudev Menon said, “The first season will comprise of 11 episodes. Initially, we wanted to make it a 10-episode package, but the makers requested that an additional one would be adding one more. He also mentioned that the first season will be ending with the death of the protagonist’s mentor. Moreover, Ramya Krishnan will be appearing full streght from Episode 8. To ensure that her presence is felt everywhere, they started the shooting with her interview, where she will be appearing now and then.
