D.Imman, a notable melody chaser comes with an another album (Jeeva) in a promising way to place the album in HIT list.

1. Ovvondrai Thirudugirai
Singers: Bhavya Pandit, Karthik
Lyrics: Vairamuthu

“Ithu Kana Mazhi alla, Kathal Mazhai” – A song in rain with beautiful starting lyrics apt for a romantic duet – Ovvondrai thirudugirai.. muthalil en kangalai, irandavathu ithayathai, moondravathu…drop in music and then the time you will think this will be the “THE BEST” melody.. A violin interlude at the middle, just awesome to hear.. Vairamuthu, Imman melody, Karthik new combo to backfire all other regulars.

2. Oru Rosa
Singers: A.V.Pooja, Anthonydasan
Lyrics: Madhan Karky

A folk and western mix, its become a HIT trend in recent albums and this one too not an exception. Guitar and sharp trumpet played well with anthony voice. Pooja voice just to give a 80s mood to the song.

3.Oruthi Melle
Singers: Abhay Jodhpurkar, El Fe Choir
Lyrics: Madhan Karky

A slow phased melody with stunning piano & mouth organs, just dancing on the floor with Abhay voice. chords added to second half of the song, makes some electric to the flow.

4.Sangi Mangi
Singers: Malavika, Nivas, Tha Mystro
Lyrics: Kabilan Vairamuthu

New year eve song which has all needed ingredients to rock the floor. After the song ends, you will still hear the loud background music which is same from start to end except the ending tone.

5.Yenge Ponai
Singers: S.P.Balasubramaniam
Lyrics: Madhan Karky

A soulful sad solo song with carnatic touch takes us somewhere to a lonely place. Veena & SPB were outstanding to say at least. A kind of song where you will not like to listen a fast beat for sometime after the song.

6. Netru Naan
Singers: Sathyaprakash
Lyrics: Madhan Karky

A refreshing bit song where guitar takes the credit than the voice. Short and sweet.

Verdict: No disappointment, pure Imman style
