Vishal yet again delivers an energetic performance. Actor shows same kind of expression and body language like his previous film Poojai, might be because both are masala flicks. Hope he will come up with something different in his next movie. Hansika looks glamorous. Kudos for her costume designer. She did complete justice to her role. The actress also dances gracefully with vishal in song sequences. Andrea’s cameo for one scene was good.

Santhanam’s comedy scenes are major plus of the movie, he appears for first 30 mins and last 30 mins as a funny cop. Few jokes are dirty though. Vaibhav doesn’t have much scope to perform. He dances well, esp in the ‘Madras to Madurai…’ song. Sathish’s acting and expressions are not catchy, he is repeating same stuff. Villain is not powerful, looks like comedy villain. Other characters Prabhu, Ramya Krishnan, Aishwarya, Kiran, Manobala play their parts convincingly.

Debut Hip Hop Tamizha’s songs are good. Re-recording is apt for this masala film. Couple of songs have same tunes, feels like we are listening to the same song again. Example is the ‘palahikalam’ and ‘aye aiye’ songs. First song in the film is ‘Palahikalam..’ followed by ‘Va Va vennila..’ with good choreography, final song in the first half is ‘Aye Aye Aye..’ which has Khushboo’s dance cameo. Post interval has an item dance number ‘madras to madurai..’ in which vishal and vaibhav dance with Poona Bajhwa. Next one is the temple song ‘year enna sonnalum’ and film ends with the remix song ‘Inbam pongee vennila.

Stunt scenes are like Hari’s film with flying sumo and fighters. Gopi Amarnath’s camera work is commendable so as the editing by N.B.Srikanth. Sundar.C’ continue his same formula in Aambala also. An outdated story with no logic. Screenplay is boring in most parts. Few comedies worked out well. Punch dialogues are good. Film has glamour, comedy, fun, romance, fights, songs as a package – but everything is delivered as half baked. Expected a laugh riot from Sundar.C, but he delivers a plain drama.
