Independence Day weekend – Next big moment for big Tamil releases

The entire year of 2022 looks like a promising phase for the Tamil movie industry as lots of releases are being lined up. While the first half of this year is already nearing completion, we have seen the biggest releases. And now it’s time for the second phase of this year to bring up the next bunch of biggies.

The first biggest moment would be Independence Day weekend – August 12. Already Vikram’s Cobra and Vishal’s Lathi have been officially confirmed for the release. During this juncture, we have to wait and watch if Silambarasan TR’s Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu will also make its arrival for this weekend.
