Such a disappointing film and what turns out to be more off a bizarre is that we would have never expected it from SRK and Imtiaz Ali. These are the emperors of romantic domain in Bollywood, but they turn us down dashing our hopes. A running length of 150 minutes and we’re tested with our patience. Either you ignore or get aggravated – These are the options that you need to be enlightened with before watching the film. Because from the beginning till the end, we find nothing special, but plethora of boredom stocked up by the lead actors – Shahrukh Khan and Anushka Sharma… Soon after penning the script, Imtiaz Ali should have made one thing for sure. He should have roped in AR Rahman onboard, which would have saved the film from sinking to at least some extent. But then, the musical score by Pritam is routine and not even half the impact of evergreen chartbusters ‘Jab We Met’ and ‘Love Aaj Kal’.

The onionskin plot revolves around a tourist guide (Shahrukh Khan) in Europe, where he accompanies the Indian tourists out there. He comes across Gujarati speaking Sejal (Anushka Sharma), who is about to get married in next few days, but has lost her engagement ring. She wants to find it to revert on the infuriated fiancé and there begins the journey between these outlandish characters.

What irks us to the core is that there is nothing special nor a single emotional sequence that imbibe us towards the characters as in erstwhile movies of Imtiaz Ali. Except for some funny acts of Shahrukh Khan, you’re definitely irritated, especially with the performance of Anushka Sharma. One would really wonder how she can exhibit a similar body language and expression for all the characters.

Despites the film being shot across the exotic foreign countries, we miss to see the celestial panorama of these places.

Moreover, writing more and more about this film would definitely create a sort of annoyance.

So better, we can wind up here…
