Actor Vijay’s outrageous letter to Tamil Nadu Government
Actor-turned-politician Vijay, head and founder of Tamizha Vetri Kazhagam, has tweeted his official request to Tamil Nadu Government (labelling it as ‘Drama-driven Government’) to take action on drug addicted youngsters, who assaulted a Hindi-speaking youngster recently in Tamil Nadu.
In his official tweet, Actor-Politician Vijay says, “The incident in which a group of youngsters brutally assaulted another young man on the train traveling from Chennai to Tiruttani yesterday has created fear and shock among the public, raising concerns about the dangerous future toward which Tamil Nadu is heading. The government failed to foresee and prevent youngsters from drifting onto the wrong path. This incident highlights the negligence and irresponsibility of the ruling administration, which seems indifferent to what happens if the youth go astray and are ruined.
Law and order have deteriorated, and the future of young people is being destroyed by drugs. There are no programs in Tamil Nadu to guide youth onto the right path. There is no conducive environment for them to pursue quality education. There are no employment opportunities matching their qualifications. There is no innovation, nor encouragement for new initiatives. If nothing is being done to provide these essentials, for whom is this government even functioning?
At least during the remaining period of its tenure, I strongly urge this deceitful, drama-driven government to take the necessary measures to completely curb the circulation of drugs.
