Big Update on Actor Kavin’s much-awaited ‘Mask’ Shooting

The much-anticipated dark comedy thriller Mask, starring Kavin in the lead, is close to wrapping up production, with 95% of the shoot completed. Only the song sequences remain, which are expected to be filmed in the coming weeks. Directed by debutant Vikranan Ashok, the film is backed by Vetrimaaran’s Grass Root Film Company, in association with Black Madras Films and The Show Must Go On.

Andrea Jeremiah, who plays a crucial antagonist role, also serves as co-producer. The cast includes Ruhani Sharma, Charle, Bala Saravanan, and VJ Archana Chandhoke. With music by G. V. Prakash Kumar, cinematography by R. D. Rajasekhar, and editing by R. Ramar, Mask is shaping up to be a stylish and fast-paced genre film. The team is eyeing a late 2025 release, following post-production.
