Coolie Decoded? Is Superstar Rajinikanth an Undercover Spy? 

A recent still from Coolie has sent Rajinikanth fans into full-on theory mode, and for good reason. In the viral photo, the Superstar sports a rugged denim look with a military-style pendant engraved with the name “DEVA” and the blood group “O+VE”, a classic military ID tag. This is wore by all military officials on the war ground and is used for emergencies of blood donation.

While the makers have been tight-lipped about the plot, this subtle detail is now fuelling speculation that Rajinikanth’s character might be more than just a “coolie.” Could he be an undercover operative? A former military man on a secret mission? Or a spy hiding in plain sight?

Director Lokesh Kanagaraj is known for embedding clues and building high-stakes cinematic universes. If the pendant is anything to go by, Coolie might just be a genre-bending mass entertainer with a hidden espionage twist.

Whether it’s action, style, or suspense, Rajinikanth’s Coolie seems ready to explode expectations once again.

The film is all set for the worldwide theatrical release on August 14, 2025.
