Director Venky Atluri has confirmed that a sequel to Lucky Baskhar, starring Dulquer Salmaan, is officially in the pipeline. The director, who’s currently shooting Suriya 46, stated that Lucky Baskhar 2 will begin production only after the completion of this film.

Venky Atluri is fully occupied with Suriya 46, a high-profile Tamil film featuring Suriya in the lead. Once filming wraps up, Dulquer is expected to join the sets of Lucky Baskhar 2, with pre-production already underway.

This sequel aims to build upon the massive success of the first film, which earned critical and commercial praise for its grounded storytelling and Dulquer’s compelling performance.

With Dulquer reportedly locking dates, Lucky Baskhar 2 is shaping up to be a much-anticipated project among fans. An official announcement on cast and crew is expected post-October.
