Actor Atharvaa, who has won hearts with his moving performance in DNA, got emotional while sharing a heartfelt memory during the film’s Thanksgiving Meet. Directed by Nelson Venkatesan, DNA features acclaimed actress Nimisha Sajayan in the female lead and has been praised for its intense storytelling and powerful performances.

Speaking at the event, Atharvaa said, “We wanted to make an honest film. Naturally, we were anxious during the preview show, especially when no one reacted at first. But when the audience applauded at the end, it was a moment of true fulfilment.”

He also credited the media for the film’s reach and success. “You made our film your own. The word of mouth began with you, and that made all the difference.”

Atharvaa went on to share a deeply personal moment from one of his theatre visits. “An elderly woman, about my mother’s age, came up to me, hugged me, and kissed me. She said I had done the film so well. That really touched me,” he said with emotion in his voice.
