Sardar 2: Full Shoot Wrapped; Post-Production in Full Swing

The much-awaited sequel to the 2022 blockbuster Sardar has officially wrapped its shoot. Directed by P. S. Mithran, Sardar 2 stars Karthi in dual roles once again, along with Rajisha Vijayan, Malavika Mohanan, and Ashika Ranganath in key roles. Notably, S. J. Suryah joins the cast as the primary antagonist, adding weight to this high-octane spy action sequel.

Produced by S. Lakshman Kumar under Prince Pictures and co-produced by Ishan Saksena (IVY Entertainment), the film features music by Sam C. S. and cinematography by George C. Williams. The team filmed across multiple locations including Chennai, Hyderabad, Bangkok, and even abroad in Georgia and Azerbaijan.

The film faced brief delays due to a stunt-related accident and a minor injury to Karthi earlier this year, but the production resumed smoothly. With post-production now underway, Sardar 2 is gearing up for a grand release in 2025 and official release date will be announced soon.

A prologue teaser released earlier this year teased the film’s intense narrative and was well received by fans. With all eyes on the sequel, expectations are sky-high for Sardar 2 to deliver yet another thrilling ride.
