“Shooting Kuberaa in Dump yard gave a nostalgic memories of childhood” – Actor Dhanush

Actor Dhanush, known for his versatility and grounded performances, made a powerful appearance at the song launch of “Pippi Pippi Dum Dum Dum” from his upcoming film Kuberaa in Mumbai. Alongside co-stars Nagarjuna and Rashmika Mandanna, Dhanush shared emotional insights about the film during the event.

“Rashmika and I shot at the dumpyard for six to seven hours. Kuberaa showed me another side of life. It took me back to my childhood and filled me with nostalgia,” said Dhanush, striking a chord with the audience.

Directed by Shekar Kammula, Kuberaa is gearing up for a worldwide theatrical release on June 20, 2025. The film is being positioned as a gritty financial crime thriller that explores an unusual rivalry: a cunning chartered accountant versus an intelligent beggar — a unique premise that’s already piqued the curiosity of cinephiles.
