Though Tamil Cinema have only few films based on father – son relationship, those movies have won the hearts of Audience. And now, the upcoming Tamil film ‘Thiri’ is all set to join in that list. Produced by A.K.Bala Murugan and R.P. Balagopi under the banner ‘Seashore Gold Productions’, the film is directed by debutante Ashok Amirtharaj. It has to be said that the Co producers of ‘Thiri’, M.Vetrikkumaran, S.Anton Ranjith and S. John Peter acts as the strong pillar for the entire film.
Starring Ashwin Kakkamanu and Swathi Reddy, ‘Thiri’ has Jayaprakash as Ashwin’s father, Anupama Kumar as his Mother, A.L.Azhagappan as Villain and it also have Karunakaran, Sendrayan, and Daniel in the crucial roles. It is to be noted that ‘Super Singer’ fame Ajeesh is introducing as a Music Director through ‘Thiri’ film. While ‘Kaviperarasu’ Vairamuthu penned the lyrics, the film ‘Thiri’ has a bunch of talented technicians that includes Cinematographer K.G.Venkatesh (Sathuranga Vettai), Editor S.P. Raja Sethupathi (Sathuranga Vettai), Dance Choreographer Dinesh and Stunt Choreographer Thalapathy Dinesh. Music Director SS Thaman has composed a single track for the film ‘Thiri’.
“Earning success in our life is not a matter….those moments has to be seen by our parents, that’s the real success….All of us have faced one particular problem in the past, present and we will cross that same problem in our future too. What is that Problem?? is the one-liner of our film ‘Thiri’. In order to make our scenes to be very realistic, we have not used sets in most of our scenes. I am pretty sure that our film ‘Thiri’s climax scene which was shot with immensity will put the Audience in a big surprise…’ says Ashok Amirtharaj, the Director of ‘Thiri’ in a confident tone.
