It’s Nithya Menon replacing Jyothika in Vijay 61
Here comes an official announcement from the close sources! There was a huge tug of war between the buzzes and rumours on Jyotika stepping out of Vijay 61 due to some unknown reasons. After going through several considerations even including Nayantara, the makers have finally zeroed in Nithya Menen in replacement of Jyothika. The other two heroines – Samantha and Kajal Aggarwal are retained back and this is almost like a reunion of ‘Janatha Garage’ heroines for Kajal Aggarwal shook legs for an item number in this Telugu movie while Samantha and Nithya Menon played the female lead roles.
Vijay 61 is directed by Atlee and bankrolled by Sri Thenandal Films with SJ Suryah, Sathyaraj, Satyan and Kovai Sarala performing important roles. AR Rahman is composing music for this film and newcomer G.K. Vishnu is handling cinematography.
