Allu Arjun-Atlee project gets powerhouse Ramya Krishnan onboard!
Allu Arjun and director Atlee’s much-talked-about film ‘AA22xA6’ has welcomed a powerful new addition to its cast. Versatile star Ramya Krishnan, celebrated for her unforgettable turn as Rajamata Sivagami in Baahubali, has officially joined the ensemble. This marks her maiden collaboration with both Allu and Atlee, adding further heft to a lineup that already features Deepika Padukone, Mrunal Thakur, Rashmika Mandanna, and Janhvi Kapoor.
Mounted on a massive scale, the project is described as a VFX-heavy action entertainer set in a parallel universe. Filming commenced in June and is presently underway in Mumbai, with Allu Arjun and Mrunal Thakur performing key action blocks. The production will roll through 2025, aiming for a spectacular late-2026 release.
Atlee has brought in top Hollywood stunt choreographers, including Spiro Razatos of Fast & Furious fame, while Los Angeles-based VFX houses are designing the visuals. Sai Abhyankkar will compose the music, marking a fresh departure from Atlee’s usual collaborator Anirudh Ravichander.
