Darbar creates unbelievable record before Pongal

Despite some of the mixed reviews, Superstar Rajinikanth’s Darbar is going through an outstanding phase of box office collections. It has now managed to spin up a whopping box office collection of Rs. 9 Cr in Chennai Box Office even before the arrival of Pongal holidays. Normally, the movies find a bigger lease of occupancy only during the Pongal festival holidays. Now it is evident that with a long weekend ahead, the traders will be definitely witnessing an unbelievable box office collection.

The film is directed by AR Murugadoss and is produced by Lyca Productions. Nayanthara plays the female lead role with Nivetha Thomas appearing in important character. Suniel Shetty plays the baddie in this movie alongside Prateik Babbar.
