First thing that instantly adapts into your minds after Enakku Vaaitha Adimaigal is that it’s far-far better than some of the recent films of Jai (except his multi-starrer movies like Raja Rani and Chennai 600028 Second Innings). Over here, you’re able to sit back and relax watching the whole show, except in few places, where the scenes are too dragging. The film is directed by Mahendran Rajamani featuring Jai, Pranitha, Karunakaran, Kaali Venkat and Navin in lead roles.

This film could have been completed in a span of just 2 hours or even lesser.

The film’s presentation almost looks like a short feature film stretched out with additional sequences to give an impact of full feature. But then, few scenes are really enjoyable with some witty lines really taking you for laughter bark. The first half generates interesting moments and it does move out in a brisk pace with fun, but the post-intermission sequences really looking little dragging with lengthy duration. This film could have been completed in a span of just 2 hours or even lesser. There are few lines like ‘Kadaisila Premgi Paattukellam Dance aada vachiteyadi’ is a stark pulling out legs for his real life pal.

When his girlfriend (Pranitha) has ditched him miserably walking away with another boy, the protagonist (Jai) decides to commit suicide and goes missing. His three friends (Navin, Karunakaran and Kaali Venkat) are left with no time to save his friend. What unfolds next is a searching mission that gets their lives even more complicated with fun and emotions.

One might claim this to be a stress buster entertainer with some good message on love and friendship

There are few irrelevant scenes, which are completely unbelievable on the logical quotients. The scene before intermission, where the friends try to play prank on Karunakaran claiming that Jai is dead doesn’t work out humour for the spot has witnessed another death on the spot. Similarly, Naan Kadavul Rajendran surrendering at last and setting out Kaali Venkat is a ridiculous logic. Well, one might claim this to be a stress buster entertainer with some good message on love and friendship, but then irrespective of what the genre is – Comedy or Serious Drama, one has to handle the situations and characterizations with some realistic touch.

When it comes to performance, everyone has done their job perfectly. The guest appearances of Santhanam and Anjali are good.

If there was few more efforts put upon the screenplay keeping it yet more engrossing and crisp, the whole movie would have been yet more entertaining on the lines of Naduvula Konjam Pakkatha Kaanom.
