Gautham Karthik and Santhosh P Jayakumar had their previous outing titled ‘Hara Hara Mahadevaki’, which despites being ‘Adult Comedy’ couldn’t be a real enjoyable one. It was rarely having those fun moments for the comedies, which banked on ‘Whatsapp viral hit based on the film’s title’. But then, it didn’t actually take you through the sweep of humour. Having decided that his second outing is going to be same genre with additional inclusion of ‘Horror’, it looks like Santhosh P Jayakumar has improvised his writing skills. Yes, as you are watching ‘Iruttu Araiyil Murattu Kuthu’, you could find that the film has reaches some levels of ‘Grand Masti’ with toast of ‘Adam Sandler’ flicks.

Gautham Karthik and Vaibhavi meet through their parents’ matchmaking and out on broad mindedness decide for a week long Thailand trip along with their friends. Well, his friend’s girlfriend happens to be the ex of Gautham, who stealthily desires for the latter. In addition, the house they stay happen to be a haunted one. What happens next is a fun filled ride, where the female ghost wants to quench its thirst with a Virgin boy or else would throw its infuriating wrath.

As mentioned earlier, the fun catering to the tastes of ‘Teen audiences’ are found in plenty. Not to forget the direct profane sequences, where Ghost spells out on Naan Kadavul Rajendran and Bala Saravanan, the climax act of John Vijay to annoy the ghost or even the conflict that happens between Karunakaran and ghost for Bala Saravanan. There are more situations that will make them laugh. Technically, it’s Balamurali Bala who has done justice to the genre and even some songs are enjoyable though they aren’t turning into Chartbusters.

The producers have played a smart game of chiseling audiences with the fact of backdrops. They have used Computer Generated works to show a house at ECR as one at Thailand. The production values are too less and yet the producers have managed to offer something as a whole package.

It’s obvious that the producers will definitely fill their sacs with profitable numbers since it’s a summer vacation for the teens to invest their pocket money.
