Is Suriya’s Karuppu Release Date postponed? Additional Shoot?
Actor Suriya’s Karuppu is one of the much-awaited films. The film has generated a tremendous buzz among the industry and fans as well. While there hasn’t been any updates pertaining to the film’s release, the makers gave a Diwali delight. The First Single – God Mode was released yesterday, marking the special occasion of Diwali. However, the fans aren’t happy as the Karuppu release date still remains unconfirmed.
Additional Shoot on Cards?
According to the latest reports, Karuppu Release date will be confirmed based on couple of factors. The film still has few portions to be shot. Secondly, the OTT premiere date alone will finalise the theatrical release.
Significantly, we hear an interesting buzz from inside sources that RJ Balaji has suggested an additional 15-min portion. Apparently, this is done to elevate the commercial grandeur of the film. However, producers of Dream Warrior Pictures haven’t responded to this call.
If everything goes well, the film’s release will be probably scheduled for Pongal 2026 or February.
First Single from Sai Abhyankkar
The First Single “God Mode” from Sai Abhyankkar has been very well received. While Suriya fans didn’t have a proper theatrical success as Kanguva was a disaster, they are pinning all hopes on Karuppu.
