Vinoth and SU Arunkumar. Sources reveal that discussions are currently underway, and one among the two is likely to be finalized to direct Rajinikanth’s next big venture.

Both directors have been riding high on the success of their recent films. H. Vinoth is known for his slick, intense storytelling (Theeran Adhigaaram Ondru, Valimai), while SU Arunkumar has impressed audiences with his grounded, emotional narratives (Chithha being the most recent hit). Either of them helming a Superstar film is sure to spark huge excitement among fans and industry insiders alike.

In addition to this development, another massive project is also on the cards — a collaboration between Superstar Rajinikanth and director Mani Ratnam, produced by Lyca Productions. If it materializes, it will mark a legendary union of two titans in Indian cinema.
