”˜Dev’ duo teams up with first time blockbuster director?

Following the release of ”˜Dev’, producer Lakshman of Prince Pictures and Karthi are likely coming together again for a film. This untitled film is likely to be directed by Karthik Thangavel, who earlier shot to fame for his maiden debut ”˜Adanga Maru’. The film starring Jayam Ravi and Raashi Khanna in lead roles turned to be a decent grosser in box office. On the other hand, Karthi’s Dev turned out to be a disaster and now the duo is all set to come together again. Recently, we had the official announcement that S Lakshman and Karthik Thangavel will be working together. However, there was no information pertaining to the lead star.

Karthi is now awaiting the release of ”˜Kaidhi’ directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj of Maanagaram fame. He has lined up Bhagyaraj Kannan’s tentatively titled ”˜Sultan’ followed by Jeethu Joseph’s untitled film, which is now at shooting stage. The film also features Jyotika in lead role with Sathyaraj, Nikila Vimal and few more prominent actors.
