Official announcement of Mani Ratnam’s Ponniyin Selvan Part 1 release date along with first look is here
After a long wait, the orthodox filmmaker of Indian film industry – Mani Ratnam has unveiled the character looks of his ambitious project Ponniyin Selvan Part. The exciting part is the announcement of release date, which is on September 30, 2022. The film has an ensemble star-cast comprising Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Vikram, Karthi, Jayam Ravi, Trisha, Sarathkumar, Rahman and Aishwarya Lekshmi in lead roles.
Ponniyin Selvan Part 1 will hit the screens on September 30. Set against the backdrops of 10th Century, the story revolves around the epic book ‘Ponniyin Selvan’ written by Kalki. AR Rahman is composing music for this film, and the movie will be released in two different parts.
