Prabhas’ latest venture, The Raja Saab, a horror-fantasy comedy helmed by director Maruthi, has made a resounding impact at the box office following its release on January 9, 2026, aligning with the festive Sankranthi season.

According to official figures released by the production house, People Media Factory, the film has amassed over ₹183 crore in worldwide gross collections within its first three days. This achievement underscores strong audience turnout and positions the movie as a frontrunner in the genre, despite varying estimates from trade analysts ranging from ₹127 crore to ₹161 crore for the same period.

The film exhibited positive momentum, with Day 3 collections reportedly surpassing those of Day 2 in key markets, driven by holiday crowds and Prabhas’ star appeal. Domestically, it has crossed the ₹100 crore net mark in India, contributing significantly to its global tally.

Produced on an expansive scale by T.G. Vishwa Prasad and Krithi Prasad under the People Media Factory banner, The Raja Saab blends elements of horror, fantasy, and comedy to deliver a captivating experience for diverse audiences. The supporting cast, featuring Malavika Mohanan, Nidhhi Agerwal, and Riddhi Kumar, has garnered praise for their engaging performances and on-screen charisma.

As the Sankranthi holidays continue, industry experts anticipate sustained performance, with projections suggesting the film could approach or exceed ₹200 crore worldwide by the end of its first week, further cementing its blockbuster credentials in Indian cinema.
