5. Kaatru Veliyidai:
2017 marks the 25th year of association between Maniratnam and AR Rahman, which was so much highly regarded with ‘Kaatru Veliyidai’. All the songs in this album based on different genres turned to be a beautiful stroke. From the melodious ‘Vaan’ to the peppy ‘Azhagiye’ and wedding song ‘Sarattu Vandiyile’, everything was enormously stunning.

Anirudh boldly emerged as a winner taking a completely new route from his erstwhile albums. The songs were based on heavy metal, hard rock and appealingly melodic as well. It’s high delight to Ajith Kumar fans for getting a different treat from this duo.
2. Vikram Vedha
Sam CS happens to be the new entrant, who just gave a mind-boggling album, which didn’t comprise of beautiful and overpowering songs, but had colossal background score as well.
1. Meesaya Murukku:
The film marked the debut of Hip Hop Aadhi as director and actor, but he never compromised on music. Being his semi-autobiographical movie, he made sure that it had the songs that will impose its addiction on everyone.
