Vishal 35 shooting starts! Dushara Signed as Heroine! 

Veteran producer R.B. Choudary’s Super Good Films has launched its 99th production, marking the beginning of actor Vishal’s 35th film in a grand traditional pooja ceremony held earlier today at the production house’s office in Chennai.

Following the massive success of Mark Antony and more recently Madha Gaja Raja, which struck big at the box office, actor Vishal is all set to team up with director Ravi Arasu for this new venture. This marks the first collaboration between Vishal and Ravi Arasu, known for his gritty commercial entertainers.

The film brings back the successful Vishal–Richard M. Nathan combo post Madha Gaja Raja. Richard will crank the camera, while NB Srikanth takes charge of editing, and Durairaj handles production design. Music for the film will be composed by G.V. Prakash Kumar, reuniting with Vishal after their well-received collaboration in Mark Antony.

Actress Dushara Vijayan has been roped in to play the female lead. The rest of the cast is currently being finalized.

 The film’s first shooting schedule will commence in Chennai and is expected to run for 45 days.

The pooja event saw several prominent names in Tamil cinema gracing the occasion, including Karthi, Thambi Ramaiah, Arjai, directors Vetrimaaran, Manimaran, Saravanaa Subbiah, M. Saravanan, producer-distributor Tirupur Subramaniam, and cinematographer Arthur A. Wilson, among others.
