Actor Karthi’s Vaa Vaathiyaar release date has been officially announced by the makers. The film is directed by Nalan Kumarasamy, and is produced by Studio Green K.E. Gnanavel Raja.

The Karthi starrer movie will have its worldwide theatrical release on December 5, 2025. The film is an out and out entertainer, where a police officer is a hardcore fan of Late actor-politician MGR. The film features Kriti Shetty in the female lead role. Santhosh Narayanan is composing music for this film.

Actor Karthi’s previous release ‘Japan’ was a disaster, which was followed by ‘Meiyazhagan’. The latter didn’t have a groovy reception in the box office. However, it managed to win the acclaims through its OTT release.

Since, the film has its theatrical release on December 5, the tentative release on OTT could be Pongal 2026. Usually, OTT platforms do prefer releasing the films on OTT with a 4 week window gap from its theatrical release date.
