Director Selvaraghavan breaks silence with slapping statement for K Rajan’s allegation on Aayirathil Oruvan

Filmmaker Selvaraghavan’s Aayirathil Oruvan re-released last year garnered tremendous response among the crowds. However, when the movie got released originally, there were mixed responses. Producer K Rajan is invited for the small and medium budget movie promotional events, which he gets paid for it as well. The producers of this movie want him to be a part of this movie for creating a sensation through controversial speeches.

During one such recent event, he slammed director Selvaraghavan for ruining the career of ‘Aayirathil Oruvan’ producer. While this video has been doing rounds, a recent interview of Selvaraghavan with a leading website during the promotional spree of Naane Varuvean has been doing rounds.

According to Selvaraghavan’s statement, the producer had spent Rs. 18Cr for AO as promised. However, when the budget exceeded the proposed limit, it was Selvaraghavan, who borrowed money from an outside source to complete the movie… The director mentions he had completed paying the debt only three years ago. “The producer had already covered the invested amount with good returns in both Tamil, and Telugu releases along with other businesses. However, I completed paying the debts in only three years. Even the producer council is aware of it, but I didn’t want to reveal it publicly. I felt like revealing them when you asked me this question about the big budget of Aayirathil Oruvan.”
