Last minute Shock: Thunivu and Varisu shows canceled at the main theater in Chennai
Ajith Kumar’s Thunivu and Vijay’s Varisu are set for a more significant release tomorrow worldwide. While both movies are getting an equal number of theaters, all the screens are jam-packed for the next couple of days. During this juncture, it is reported that Ganga Cinemas, one of the oldest and most prominent theaters in Chennai city has officially confirmed that the shows of both Thunivu and Varisu have been canceled due to some technical issues.
However, it is said that the shows have been canceled in accordance with the PIL filed against the theaters charging high prices for the tickets. It is noted that Rohini theater has reportedly charged Rs. 2, 2500 for the FDFS and GK Cinemas is Rs. 1500.
