The Tamil movie, ”˜96’, starring Vijay Sethupathy and Trish won both critical and box-office acclaim and was a mega-success! Director Prem Kumar has presented the script of soft college love in an impressive manner. Trish acted as the heroine, ”˜Jaanu’.

96 was remade in Telugu under this title Jaanu, Actor Samantha donned Trisha’s role. This was released recently. However, it did not turn out to be a hit! It had only a kind of ”˜lukewarm’ response from the film buffs! Actor Samantha was affected by this failure.
