Playback Singer Chinmayi – Decision to pursue in the court
Noted movie playback singer Chinmayi had filed her nomination to contest in the elections for the Film Dubbing Union. However, her nomination was rejected citing that she was not even a member in the Union!
In this scenario, Chinmayi has responded that her nomination has been rejected against the law. Hence, she will pursue this through the court. On the professional front, Chinmayi has rendered her voice for Samantha in ‘Jaanu’, which happens to be the remake of super hit Tamil movie ‘96’ that starred Vijay Sethupathi and Trisha. It is worth mentioning that Samantha had played the female lead role in romantic hit movie ‘Vinnaithaandi Varuvaaya’ Telugu version as well. The common factor is that all these films had Chinmayi dubbing for them.
