R. Parthiban
Radhakrishnan Parthiban, born on October 14, 1958, is a prominent figure in the Tamil film industry, known for his versatility as an actor, director, and producer. He began his career as an assistant director under the tutelage of K. Bhagyaraj in 1984 and has since made significant contributions to Tamil cinema. Parthiban’s directorial debut, ‘Pudhiya Paadhai,’ in which he also starred, won the National Film Award for Best Feature Film in Tamil. His unique approach to storytelling and filmmaking has been acclaimed, with ‘Otha Seruppu Size 7’ earning him a Special Jury Award at the National Film Awards. Beyond his cinematic endeavors, Parthiban is also an author and runs a charitable trust, showcasing his commitment to both the arts and social causes.
