Dude! Pradeep Ranganathan beats Sivakarthikeyan in Netflix Race! 

Pradeep Ranganathan has consistently delivered hits as a filmmaker and actor. In particular, his acting phase has been gaining him phenomenal response in accordance to back-to-back hits of ‘Love Today’ and ‘Dragon’. Significantly, he is now labelled as the bankable star of theaters. On the other hand, his much-celebrated movie ‘Dragon’ has turned out to be a massive hit on Netflix, thereby gaining more streaming views. This has prompted the Netflix team is acquire the OTT rights of his upcoming film ‘Dude’ for a whopping amount of Rs. 25Cr. 

It is noteworthy that Sivakarthikeyan’s Amaran had a good theatrical run, but didn’t manage to have a decent OTT phase in Netflix. This has made the OTT platform to ink the deal for ‘Madharasi’ only for Rs.21Cr. Although Madharasi is directed by AR Murugadoss, the expectations are still in the low key league. Well, lets hope the duo gives a promising commercial spell, thereby elevating their levels in the OTT Zone.
