Karthi’s Marshal Shooting Begins in Rameswaram
The much-awaited Marshal shooting has officially started in Rameswaram on September 17. Actor Karthi began filming after weeks of speculation about the status of his upcoming projects. Fans, who were uncertain about the progress, can finally breathe a sigh of relief.
The Marshal shooting will run on a non-stop 30-day schedule. The film is planned as a two-part high-octane period thriller. Director Tamizh, known for Taanakaaran, is at the helm, while Dream Warrior Pictures producers S.R. Prakash Babu and S.R. Prabhu are backing the project. Actress Kalyani Priyadarshan, fresh from her blockbuster success in Lokah, joins Karthi as the female lead.
While the Marshal shooting is moving ahead with full steam, Karthi’s other project, Vaa Vaathiyaar, continues to face delays. Only a couple of weeks of filming remain, but the team has not shared any major updates. Although Studio Green previously announced a December release, there has been little buzz surrounding the film’s progress.
