Yash’s Toxic Postponed; Dhurandhar Gets Solo March 19 Release
The release plans for Yash’s much-awaited film Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups have changed. The film, which was originally scheduled to hit theatres on March 19, 2026, has now been postponed to June 4, 2026.
The makers reportedly took the decision due to the current geopolitical tensions in the Middle East. Since GCC countries are an important overseas market for Indian films, the team chose to delay the release to ensure a smoother global rollout.
Directed by Geetu Mohandas, Toxic marks Yash’s return to the big screen after nearly four years, following the blockbuster success of KGF: Chapter 2. The film has generated huge anticipation among fans as it promises to showcase the actor in a completely new avatar.
Produced by KVN Productions, the project also features Kiara Advani along with a strong supporting cast. With the release shift, the promotional plans are expected to be rescheduled, including a trailer launch event that was reportedly planned in Bengaluru.
Meanwhile, the postponement has opened the door for Ranveer Singh’s upcoming action thriller Dhurandhar: The Revenge to enjoy a clash-free release on March 19.
Directed by Aditya Dhar and backed by Jio Studios, the film revolves around high-stakes intelligence operations and is expected to release across multiple languages. With no major competition that weekend, trade analysts believe the film could benefit significantly at the box office.
