STUDIO FLICKS PRESENTS
Impossible! Paradoxically hypothetical! Of course, it holds not even a single percentage of truth on any criteria. But imaginations have no boundaries right. Over the decades, Tamil cinema has been travelling certain routes that have implemented few genres and acting proficiencies. There were times, who would be holding the position of MGR and who’s the next superstar. If actors have rigidly tried to follow the same route of recreating the classic charms of choosing best commercial movies with sentimental factors. With few assumptions and relevance, we bring you this feature exclusive of Time Travel or Back in Time mode – What if the yesteryear actors were a part of 2015 blockbuster hits.
MGR’S VEDALAM :
Well, if you’re looking up for the identical features of both the versatile actors having glittering fair complexion. Both of them would never prefer wearing makeup and apart from these identities, late actor MGR always opted for movies that have lots of family sentiments, especially sister bonding. The film carries the best formulae that were predominantly reigning in 60s and 70s especially in MGR movies.
SIVAJI GANESAN STARRER ‘I’:
Guess what? Sivaji Ganesan happens to be one of the rarest actors of Tamil cinema who had turned the global spotlights through his fantabulous performance in different avatars. He has always been experimenting with different looks and he would be an apt choice for Shankar’s I, which had Chiyaan Vikram making it.
JAI SHANKAR IN PULI :
Jai Shankar has always been a part of some unconventional genres and he could carry out this fantasy genre blended with adventure. Jai Shankar could easily bring out the best impact with this film along with some comedians like Nagesh alongside him.
KALYAN KUMAR-MN NAMABIAR IN ANEGAN :
Not alone Kalyan Kumar, but the entire star-cast of Nenjam Marapadhillai befittingly looks perfect for the Anegan, where Devika can reprise the characterisation of Amyra Dastur and MN Nambiar in the role essayed by Dhanush. Both these movies are based on the concept of reincarnation, but we aren’t sure if ‘Danga Maari’ will suit Kalyan Kumar though.
GEMINI GANESAN IN O KADHAL KANMANI :
No one else than the evergreen romantic hero ‘Kadhal Mannan’ Gemini Ganesan could suit the sweet handsome role of Dulquer Salman. Savithri has always shared a wonderful onscreen chemistry with Gemini Ganesan in many movies and she could be the best one for ‘Tara’, which is played by Nithya Menen. Of course, Live-in Relationships were a sin during those times and it’s quite unimaginable to see this pair in this genre of flick….
MUTHURAMAN IN NAANUM ROWDY DHAAN :
Muthuraman is always known for performing silent and calm roles, sometimes with humour. He could be a best choice for the role of Pondy aka Pandi. Perhaps, K.R. Vijaya can be a cool pair with Muthuraman as both of them are capable of carrying forth these roles that has blend of emotions, humour and good onscreen romance as well.
SS RAJENDRAN-RAVICHANDRAN IN THANI ORUVAN :
This could be the ultimate combo to deliver more the power of what we saw through the performance of Jayam Ravi and Aravind Swamy in ‘Thani Oruvan’. SS Rajendran as Mithran IPS and Ravichandran who has already performed negative roles in few movies would suit the space vigorously. SSR is always known as Latchiya Nadigar, who picks up only socially responsible roles and in Mithran character, he will be doing the right justice.
NAGESH IN DARLING :
The film actually needs a comedian like artist and the humour with horror is always best regarded. GV Prakash’s role reprised by Late actor Nagesh could bring out more fun and tickle our funny bones much more than what we are seeing and moreover with inclusion of few more actors like MR Radha as ‘Ghost Gopal Varma’, it is sure to offer unlimited blend of fun and spine chilling moments.
