The Yellow Elephant (2026)

In southern Tamil Nadu, timber worker Shanmugam relies on Raju, a gentle elephant, and his mahout Chengu to move felled trees. When activists expose Raju’s work to authorities, Shanmugam secretly decides to send him away. The film follows Raju and Chengu’s emotional journey as their lives are upended by this decision.
