Composer Anirudh Ravichander met Silambarasan TR at the Arasan shooting spot in Chennai. Director Vetrimaaran was also present, and the three discussed work on the film.
Arasan, starring Silambarasan TR and directed by Vetrimaaran, is produced by Kalaipuli S. Thanu. Shooting is currently underway at a large set in Taramani and is progressing as planned.
The film is being developed as a story connected to the Vada Chennai universe. The cast also includes Andrea Jeremiah, Samuthirakani and Kishore, among others.
