Arichandhira Review

Vels Signature in collaboration with Conzept Notes has been encouraging the aspiring talents in the movie industry by ensuring them a platform of high calibre. Various independent music artists, short filmmakers and actors are being benefitted through this domain. The latest one to join the league is Arichandhira, a short film directed by Loli featuring Mime Gopi and Jayalakshmi in the lead characters.

The movie deals with an emotional moment in the life of cremation ground worker, whose wife is suffering in labour pain. The pandemic phase has left him desolated like any other professionals, and he is unable to meet the demands of the situation, where his wife is suffering between life and death. This 20-minute movie deals with harsh reality elements, which needs a special mention for the earnest efforts of director Loli. Mime Gopi’s performance is natural and is brilliant. There’s a theory in short film. Keep the dialogues short and characters limited. Director Loli has exactly followed the same, and scores the brownie points.
