Clarification on Sultan OTT release

Over the past few months, the array of releases on the OTT platforms has been bringing up lots of fascinations and excitements among the fans. With the theatre lockdown, this has been a solace for the film buffs. Apparently, many movies are now reported of continuing the OTT way skipping theatrical releases. This includes Karthi’s Sultan, which was recently reported of having a direct OTT release on Disney+ Hotstar.

However, the sources close to the production team confirm this as a baseless rumour stating that there is no truth in it. They have affirmed that the movie will first have a theatrical release followed by OTT.
