“I have daughters, and don’t have intention to make obscene movies” – Director Venkat Prabhu

Following the grand success of Maanaadu that had an organic 100-day run in the theaters, director Venkat Prabhu is ready for the release of his next movie titled ‘Manmadha Leelai’. The film featuring Ashok Selvan, Riya Suman, Samyuktha Hegde, and Smruthi Venkat in the lead roles is scheduled for worldwide theatrical release on April 1, 2022.

While the teaser and trailer have clearly registered that the film is an adult comedy, Venkat Prabhu denies stating that it’s a family entertainer. During the recent press meet held in Chennai, he said, “I have daughters at home, and don’t have intention to make obscene movies. Manmadha Leelai will be a fun-filled family entertainer that everyone can watch along with their families.”
