AGS Entertainment’s 29th production, currently titled AGS 29, was launched with a pooja in Chennai on September 6. Shooting is set to begin on September 10.
The film is produced by Kalpathi S. Aghoram, Kalpathi S. Ganesh and Kalpathi S. Suresh. It is written and directed by M.S. Anandan, who earlier directed the Vishal-starrer Chakra.
Jai, Priyanka Mohan and Yogi Babu play the lead roles. The cast also includes Rajiv Menon, Nassar, G.M. Sundar, Ramesh Thilak and Arul Doss.
Director M.S. Anandan said the film would be an action thriller with comedy. Shooting is planned in Ooty, Chennai and other locations.
Archana Kalpathi is the creative producer, Aishwarya Kalpathi is the associate creative producer, and S.M. Venkat Manickam is the executive producer.
The technical team includes Ravi Basrur (music), Bala Subramaniem (cinematography), Pradeep E. Raghav (editing), S. Kannan (art direction), Phoenix Prabu (stunts), and Dinesh Manoharan, Pallavi Singh and Selvi Thangaraj (costumes). Publicity design is by Tuney John.
