Lyca Productions’ Sigma, the directorial debut of Jason Sanjay, will hit theatres worldwide on October 2.
The film is produced by Subaskaran under the Lyca Productions banner and stars Sundeep Kishen in the lead role, alongside Faria Abdullah, Raju Sundaram, Sampath Raj, Shiv Panditt, Anbu Thasan, Yog Japee and others.
Two songs from the film — “Sigma Style” and “Ayyayyo Ammadi” — have been released so far. The film’s premise and several other details remain under wraps. A teaser and the two singles have offered limited glimpses of the project.
Lyca Productions stated that shooting was completed as planned and within the scheduled timeframe. The production house also noted Jason Sanjay’s disciplined approach during the making of the film.
G. K. M. Tamil Kumaran, Head of Lyca Productions, said: “We are delighted to announce October 2 as the worldwide theatrical release date of Sigma. The film has shaped up extremely well, and the response to the songs has further strengthened the excitement surrounding it. While we have consciously kept the core premise and many aspects of the film under wraps, the glimpses we have shared so far have given audiences a taste of the world Sanjay has created.”
Further updates on the trailer and audio launch are expected to be announced soon. A promotional campaign for the film is also planned.
The technical team includes Thaman S (music), Krishnan Vasant (cinematography), Praveen KL (editing), Benjamin M (art direction) and Hariharasuthan (VFX supervisor). Jason Sanjay has written and directed the film.
Sigma is scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on October 2.
