STR and Oviya team up for first collaboration in K-town
STR had recently composed an independent single track album for New Year titled ‘Marana Matta’, which was crooned by Oviya. The song became a viral hit over YouTube and all social media hubs. Now it looks like both of them are collaborating for the first time in a movie. Yes, STR will be composing music for an untitled film that has Oviya in lead role. The film is directed by Anitha, who is a well known personality in film industry for owning Penta Media, an animation company and Mayajaal multiplex. She is also the producer of yesteryear thriller movie ‘Whistle’. She also reportedly crooned the song ‘Azhagiya Asoora’ in Whistle, which is regarded as one of the best songs till the date from D Imman. It is mentioned that STR will be composing music for this film and this is the second time he scores music for a film after Santhanam’s Sakka Podu Podu Raja.
