Following the backbreaking performance in Bala’s Thaara Thappattai, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar has been constantly seen taking up lots of projects with some challenging and unconventional roles too. She played a significant character in Mammooty’s Kasaba and then is essaying a great role alongside Action King Arjun and Prasanna in Arun Vaidyanathan’s Nibunan. Now the recent news about the actress signing for the remake of Telugu movie ‘Kshanam’ has turned on the spotlights. She will be playing a police officer in this film, which features Sibiraj and Adah Sharma in lead roles with Saithan fame Pradeep Krishnamoorthy wielding the megaphone. It is learnt that Varalaxmi will be seen a cop with buried past and a negative shade, which will be the highlighting trait in this movie, produced by Sibiraj’s father.
