Stereotypical themes never impress him nor does he want to offer the audiences with it. Every time, KV Anand conceives a project, it deliberately stands out to be exceptional. He has wowed the mass audiences from his most spectacular maiden debut ‘Kana Kandein’ followed by ‘Ayan’, ‘Ko’ and ‘Maattraan’ With his upcoming film Dhanush-Amyra Dastur starrer ‘Anegan’ getting ready for release on this Friday (February 13), he reveals how different it would be from his previous films.
“I must openly admit that all my previous had some issues as an intriguing theme. Say for instance, a chemical project in KK followed by smuggling in Ayan, investigative journalism in KO and a serious global health issue in Maattraan had formed the major backdrops and ‘Romance’ had to be inserted. Whereas Anegan would have love as the main theme and other issues would be the supporting elements. I wanted to cast Dhanush in this film as I believed he is the only actor who could do a perfect justice to love stories as proved from his previous flicks.”
