Innasi Pandiyan is a talented and successful director and writer in the Tamil film industry. He was born on June 15, 1986 in Thesiyampatti, a village in Tenkasi district. He completed his MBA from Bharathiar University and his D.F.Tech from M.G.R. Government Film and Television Training Institute.

He started his career as an assistant director to Arivazhagan Venkatachalam and R. Ajay Gnanamuthu. He worked on films such as Vallinam, Aarathu Sinam, Kuttram 23 and Imaikkaa Nodigal. He made his debut as a director with the horror-thriller film Diary, which released in 2022 and became a blockbuster hit. He also co-wrote the script for Cobra, a thriller starring Vikram.
