Jayasudha is an Indian actress and politician. She predominantly works in Telugu films along with Tamil films in addition to a few appearances in Malayalam, Hindi, and Kannada films. Jayasudha is a granddaughter of eminent scholar and literary historian, Nidudavolu Venkatarao and Gidugu Krishna Murthy

She has received numerous accolades including eight state Nandi Awards of Andra Pradesh and seven Filmfare Awards South.
