Film is about the epic clash between a cop and gangster, narrated in a unique way based on Vikramadithyan – Vedhalam story. Vijay Sethupathi as Vedha and Maddy as Vikram. It can be better termed as ‘Mass’ Vedha and ‘Class’ Vikram. Vijai Sethupathi’s characterisation has been sketched really well. He delivers an outstanding performance as North Chennai gangster. He has got 3 different get-ups in the movie. Maddy as a honest cop, the way he handles the gun is one of the example of his perfection. Vikram’s clash scenes with Vedha are intriguing.

Film is about the epic clash between a cop and gangster, narrated in a unique way based on Vikramadithyan – Vedhalam story.

Shraddha Srinath as Maddy’s wife, a lawyer works in Vedha’s case, against her husband. The romantic scenes between Maddy & Shraddha are lovely. Kathir – Varalaxmi pair has less screen space, they have done their part well. Other important cast includes Prem, ‘Ravi’ character, Rajkumar and Hareesh Peradi.

Music is composed by debut Sam C S. Songs are already a chartbuster. Back ground music is simply terrific. Two montage songs ‘Yaanji Yaanji..’ and ‘Pogatha Enna Vittu’ deserves loop mode. ’Tasakku Tasakku’ song’s dance choreography is good. Credits to Kalyan master. Film’s visuals are appealing, camera work needs a special mention.

The Episodic narration aka the story telling way is unique and it plays the main highlight of the film

Director Duo Phuskar – Gayathri is back into direction after a long gap of 7 years. Their last outing ‘Vaa Quarter Cutting’ was not a successful venture. With 2 amazing actors on board, they have tried their best to deliver a different movie. The Episodic narration aka the story telling way is unique and it plays the main highlight of the film. When the twist slowly unveils one by one, curiosity in audience mind increases. There are 3 episodes [Thiruda Thiruda, Thiruda Thirudi, Thirudan Police] which frames the story, which is a good idea.

Though the narration is different, there are few lack of interesting scenes. Many dialogues are catchy. Inspite of few flaws and lag, it’s taken over by the lead Performances, music and the distinct attempt.
