Kalaipuli S Thanu clarifies on Naane Varuvean clash with Ponniyin Selvan 1
Producer Kalaipuli S Thanu releasing his upcoming movie ‘Naane Varuvean’ starring Dhanush in dual roles along with Mani Ratnam’s magnum opus Ponniyin Selvan Part 1 has created lots of sensation. While many have been stating this as a risky bet for NV, producer Kalaipuli S Thanu clarifies stating that it’s a holiday season with nearly 9 days of continuous space, where even 4 big releases would be a profitable venture for the theater owners, distributors and of course, the producers. So it was the main reason behind releasing his Naane Varuvean along with Ponniyin Selvan Part 1.
