Nayanthara to Star Opposite Karthi in Sundar C’s Next, Backed by Prince Pictures

Actor Karthi and director Sundar C are set to collaborate for a new big-budget entertainer, with Nayanthara confirmed as the female lead. The film, produced by Prince Pictures—the banner behind Sardar and Sardar 2—is slated to begin shooting in November 2025 and wrap by March 2026.

Currently awaiting the release of Gangers, Sundar C is said to be crafting a commercial script with a fresh treatment for this project. This marks the return of Karthi and Nayanthara after 9 years (Kaashmora), and sources say the actress was impressed by the strength of her role. Karthi, despite a packed schedule, has committed dedicated dates for the film.
